Zhenchao (he/him/his) is a PhD student in Media Psychology at the Department of Communication. His research agenda includes:
- understanding the relationship between phone use and interpersonal relationships, identity, sexuality, and well-being with intensive time-series data;
- modeling change in intraindividual variability;
- including the disadvantaged and underrepresented groups in research and promoting open science.
Before coming to Stanford, Zhenchao has worked with United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA), UN Women, and local tech companies and NGOs in China and Belgium to promote and evaluate diversity and inclusion interventions in the workplace and middle schools. He received his B.A.s in Journalism and Law from Communication University of China, and his M.S. in Social Data Science from KU Leuven.
